Businesses across Europe are under threat from rising insecurity of energy supply, and from unsustainably high prices that have slashed production across critical sectors. The European Commission is considering a number of bloc-wide proposals to control prices and is rapidly changing positions on potential emergency measures. Individual states have likewise begun to introduce national energy measures that will impact production and competitive landscapes across the EU.

Companies are actively managing their risk profile across the continent and this meeting is intended to:

(1) summarize EU-level proposals and member state measures focusing on price controls, subsidies, and demand reductions, and
