U.S. Chamber of Commerce, 1615 H St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20062

Speaker and session announcements coming soon!

The U.S. housing shortage is limiting economic growth, impeding workforce development, and challenging the ability of American businesses and communities to thrive.

Simply put, housing means business.

The Issue:

At the same time national attention on housing has increased, including July's enactment of the historic and bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, solving the nation's housing shortage requires continued business engagement and governmental leadership in states, cities, and towns.

That is why the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has elevated housing as a key economic priority. Through policy advocacy, research, coalition-building, and convenings, the Chamber is working with business leaders and policymakers to advance solutions that increase housing supply and strengthen economic opportunity.

The Convening:

At the 2026 Housing Summit: Building for Growth, leaders from a cross-section of housing stakeholders will convene at the U.S. Chamber headquarters. Join C-suite executives, policymakers, regulators, and nonprofit officials for mainstage discussions about:

  • ROAD to Housing Implementation
  • State Policy Wins
  • Federal Landscape: What’s Next?
  • Financing the Missing Middle
  • Building the Workforce
  • Resilience, Insurance, & Infrastructure
