Please join us for a virtual meeting with Joel Ehrendreich, (bio), Director, Office of Japanese Affairs, U.S. Department of State, on Thursday, January 26 at 7:00 pm EST / Friday, January 27 at 9:00 am JST. Mr. Ehrendreich will provide a readout of the key bilateral engagements that have taken place in January – the Biden-Kishida Summit, the 2+2 meeting, and the Economic 2+2 Vice-Ministerial meeting in Washington – and discuss the year ahead in U.S.-Japan relations. The roundtable will also be an opportunity for USJBC members to brief him on U.S. corporate priorities.

PLEASE NOTE: Following our session with Mr. Ehrendrich, the USJBC will hold its annual strategy and planning session with members to discuss opportunities for 2023 engagement from 7:45 – 8:15 pm EST / 9:45 – 10:15 am JST. We look forward to hearing your company’s advocacy and engagement priorities – whether for the USJBC’s sector-specific working groups, the broader Council membership, and/or whether it be in conjunction with our Japan-U.S. Business Council counterparts.
