ABOUT THE MISSION

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s U.S.-Kazakhstan Business Council will lead its annual business mission on October 7-9 to Almaty and Astana. Last year marked the inaugural business mission of the U.S.-Kazakhstan Business Council to Kazakhstan since its inception within the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. This tradition of annual missions, carrying forward the legacy of the U.S.-Kazakhstan Business Association, aims to foster closer commercial ties between U.S. private sector and Kazakhstan. We extend a warm invitation to a diverse range of U.S. enterprises, spanning from multinational corporations to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), across various sectors, to join the delegation.

Companies are encouraged to send senior executives from the United States or the region as the lead delegate for this delegation. Participants will meet with key Kazakhstan Government officials, policymakers, and the U.S.-Kazakhstan business community. The delegation will visit Almaty and Astana. The goals of the business mission are to advance the U.S.-Kazakhstan trade and investment agenda, including macroeconomic and sectoral specific business climate reforms, diversification of commercial ties and regional trade routes.

Please note there are three relevant events taking place in Kazakhstan around these dates, around which the business mission will engage: President Tokayev’s Foreign Investors’ Council, the Astana International Economic Forum, and the Astana International Financial Centre Finance Days.
