U.S. Industry and Investment Agency Virtual Roundtable on Methane
Event Description
Reducing methane emissions is essential to achieving global climate goals and a top international climate priority for both the Biden Administration and the U.S. energy industry. Cutting methane in the energy sector can deliver the fastest and sharpest emissions reductions, while preventing the waste of valuable natural gas resources. Over 155 countries have now endorsed the Global Methane Pledge to cut methane emissions at least 30% by 2030 from 2020 levels, catalyzing international markets for methane reduction.
We invite you to join a roundtable with the Department of State, Department of Commerce, Export-Import Bank, Development Finance Corporation, and U.S. Trade and Development Agency to learn about U.S. diplomatic, project development, and investment tools to support your organization’s efforts to mitigate methane abroad.
