U.S. Chamber of Commerce NYCW Business Case for Resilience Event

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, together with the Alliance for Global Water Adaptation, Marsh McLennan, and other coalition members and stakeholders, proposes to convene a roundtable to build the business case for resilience. The Chamber has held several recent meetings to advance the resilience policies of the future, including the need for a National Resilience Strategy, and is interested in aligning public and private priorities to ensure the enabling policy environment for continued progress.

This event will highlight the findings from the new Chamber, Chamber Foundation, and Allstate report, the Preparedness Payoff – for every $1 invested in predisaster mitigation resilience measures and projects, there are $13 in economic savings across the broad economy.
