Please join us for a briefing with our colleagues from Global Counsel on the proposed EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).

The EU is revising its rules around packaging and packaging waste to set new standards and targets for recycling, reuse, and refill. The Commission published the PPWR in November 2022 to replace its long-standing Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive. The EU Parliament and Council are currently debating their positions. 

The presentation will focus on the PPWR and will contextualize it into the broader EU Circular Economy strategy. Members are welcome and encouraged to stay on the call to discuss the Chamber’s engagement and position on PPWR.
