Q4 GIPC Leadership Council
Event Description
Please save the date for the Q4 GIPC Leadership Council meeting on December 9 at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
The Q4 meeting discussion will focus on how we can leverage our work with international organizations, national governments, and U.S. policymakers to advance stronger IP outcomes worldwide. We are honored to welcome Laura Peter, Deputy Director General of the Patents and Technology Sector at WIPO, who will share her perspective on the evolving global IP landscape and the role of international institutions in supporting innovation and creativity.
Following Ms. Peter's remarks, members will participate in a facilitated discussion exploring how GIPC can most effectively engage international organizations and the U.S. and foreign governments to strengthen the global IP ecosystem. The conversation will consider how GIPC can work with the Trump Administration, Congress, and other U.S. government partners to elevate IP as a priority within broader trade, economic, and foreign policy discussions. Members will also explore opportunities to better align GIPC's engagement in Geneva with its country-level advocacy efforts and identify priority markets and institutions for future engagement to shape GIPC's global strategy for 2027 and beyond.
