About Yousef Al Otaiba
Yousef Al Otaiba was appointed as Ambassador of the UAE to the US in 2008 and was later promoted to Minister of State in 2017. Ambassador Al Otaiba has dedicated his diplomatic career to strengthening the UAE-US partnership through economic, cultural, security, and philanthropic initiatives. His opinion piece helped encourage conversation on normalizing diplomatic relations between Israelis and Emiratis, which led to the signing of the Abraham Accord agreement. Additionally, his leadership has inspired multiple programs at the UAE Embassy, including the UAE USA United campaign and the Community Soccer program.
