Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act: Compliance Implications for American Business

Monday, February 14, 2022

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. EST

Event Description

Join the U.S. Chamber on Monday, February 14 at 1:00 p.m. EST for an expert panel discussion on the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act and its implications for American businesses.

As required under the law, the Department of Homeland Security is seeking public comment on how best to ensure that goods, wares, articles, and merchandise partially or wholly produced through forced labor in the People's Republic of China are not imported into the United States. As American businesses consider how this process will figure into U.S. international economic policy globally, this panel will discuss the implications to business compliance regimes.

Participation is limited to Chamber members. Please RSVP using the button above and contact Jack Overstreet (joverstreet@uschamber.com), Isabelle Icso (IIcso@uschamber.com) or Don Giolzetti (
dgiolzetti@uschamber.com) with any questions.

We look forward to hosting you.
