Yifat Alon-Perel currently serves as the Minister of Economic and Trade Affairs for the Embassy of Israel, where she leads efforts to promote bilateral trade relations between Israel and the U.S. and represents the Ministry of Economy vis-à-vis the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank. In her duties, she has developed expertise in a wide range of policy areas including cybersecurity, life sciences, and water. Prior to taking over her current position, Ms. Alon-Perel served as the Director of Bilateral Trade Agreements for the Israeli Ministry of Economy.

Ms. Alon-Perel has also spent time serving as the Economic and Innovation Attaché to the Embassy of Israel in Madrid. She has also held a variety of positions in the Foreign Trade Administration for the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.
