U.S.-Australia Conference

June 23, 2022

9:00 am - 6:00 pm

(including post-conference reception)

U.S. Chamber of Commerce

1615 H Street NW

Washington, D.C. 20062

The U.S. Chamber is pleased to invite you to register for a day-long series of strategic and sector-focused discussions surrounding the dynamic U.S.-Australia alliance. At a moment filled with global challenges, this bilateral relationship is at the center of so many – the Quad, AUKUS, competition in the Indo-Pacific, COVID-19 recovery, supply chains, critical minerals, regional trade architecture, and more.

In the past week alone, Australia has seen a transformative general election, ushering in Anthony Albanese and the Labor Party following nine years of conservative rule; became a founding partner in the newly-launched Indo-Pacific Economic Framework; and has been enmeshed in regional security conversations concerning China’s proposed agreements in the Pacific Islands.

This event will be held in partnership with AmCham Australia as one component of their broader Alliance Summit, which will bring a delegation of Australian business leaders to Washington, DC to explore the contours of and possibilities within today’s U.S.-Australia alliance. Speakers will include Biden administration officials, private sector experts, and some of Washington’s keenest thinkers.

The agenda for the day will be full but will include opportunities for informal conversation with the speakers and Australian delegation throughout and a reception to conclude. So please register at the link above, and we’ll send further information and a full agenda in the coming days.
