U.S.-Brazil Clean Energy Industry Dialogue
Event Description
Please join U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm and Brazilian Minister of Mines and Energy Bento Albuquerque for the launch of the U.S.-Brazil Clean Energy Industry Dialogue (CEID), a new forum for public-private discussion and partnership that will complement the U.S.-Brazil Energy Forum (USBEF) agenda and allow for new initiatives on clean energy that are driven by the private sector.
The Program: The inaugural CEID meeting will bring together the public and private sectors of the United States and Brazil to celebrate this new chapter in bilateral cooperation on clean energy by engaging in a series of interactive, moderated discussions on the following sectors:
- clean hydrogen
- offshore wind
- storage and grid modernization
- carbon management
- sustainable fuels
Details: In-person participation is limited to 40 people for each country (including public and private sectors). Please note that due to technological limitations, those attending virtually will be in listening-only mode. Please share this invitation with U.S. and Brazilian colleagues you think are relevant to the above-mentioned topics, especially if they can travel to Washington to contribute to the in-person discussion. Once we reach in-person capacity limits, we encourage participants to join us virtually to listen and follow up with us afterwards with input. The event will be open to the press and recorded for wider availability and distribution.
