Virtual Briefing on Executive Order setting restrictions on investments in countries of concern

Event Description

The Biden Administration issued an Executive Order on “Investments in Certain National Security Technologies and Products in Countries of Concern” on August 9. The Executive Order addresses restrictions on U.S. investments in China.

We have received requests from multiple AmChams and embassies to learn more about the EO as Europe evaluates how this impacts their position on Chinese investments.

Please join us for a briefing with John Murphy Senior Vice President for International Policy and Acting Head of International at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
The briefing will be open to European embassies in Washington and AmChams in Europe.

This is a closed, off-the-record discussion that is not open to the press. This meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams.
