Women's Policy Breakfast: Centering Women's Leadership in African Trade Policy

Please join the Chamber’s Women Taking the Lead Initiative, Equality of Opportunity initiative, and the U.S.-Africa Business Center for an in-person dialogue focused on the role women leaders are playing in designing more inclusive outcomes in economic and commercial policy between Africa and the United States. We are pleased to partner with the Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT) for the May 26 policy breakfast.
The Women Taking the Lead breakfast will convene the distinguished women leaders of the African Diplomatic Corps, senior U.S. officials and corporate leaders for an in-person networking breakfast and discussion in honor of World Trade Month and celebrations to commemorate of Africa Week. As part of the event, distinguished speakers from government and business will highlight the importance of promoting policy interventions and outcomes that ensure women’s economic participation in trade and to spotlight the notable women in the public and private sectors who are at the forefront of these efforts.
