Investment Task Force Call: Africa's Economic Outlook and the Support of the World Bank in its Economic Recovery

On Monday, March 15, at 9:00 AM EST, the U.S. - Africa Business Center (USAfBC) will host its next Investment Task Force call featuring Dr. Albert Zeufack, Chief Economist for Africa at the World Bank as well as Sunil Kaushal, Regional Chief Executive, Africa and Middle East, Standard Chartered Bank and Chair of the Investment Task Force. During Covid-19, the World Bank has been at the forefront of global relief efforts, as one of the frontline multilateral institutions in charge of mobilizing financial resources and technical assistance for developing economies, including African countries. During this session, Dr. Zeufack will share the Bank's perspectives on Africa's economic outlook and its priorities in support of the continent's economic recovery. Sunil Kaushal will share his perspective on how private sector companies can support this recovery.
 
 
The purpose of the Investment Task Force is to focus on U.S.-Africa investment trends and policy priorities that enable a favorable investment environment across the African continent as well as increased capital flows between markets.
