U.S. Chamber of Commerce Briefing on National Security and Cyber Implications of the Ukraine Conflict

With Bill Evanina (Evanina Group) and Rob Lee (Dragos)

Thursday, March 10, 2022

3:00 - 4:00 p.m. EST

Event Description

Please join the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for a virtual conversation on the cyber and national security implications of the Ukraine conflict on Thursday, March 10 at 3:00 p.m. EST.

Following last week's briefing with Dmitri Alperovitch (Silverado Policy Accelerator) and John Hultquist (Mandiant), we are pleased to host Bill Evanina, Founder and CEO of the Evanina Group, and Rob Lee, CEO of Dragos, for a discussion on the conflict in Ukraine and its cyber and national security implications for U.S. entities.

As sanctions impact Russia's economy and key Kremlin allies, experts warn that Russia may retaliate by using its significant cyber capabilities to attack Ukraine and its allies, including the United States. Ransomware groups including the Conti ransomware gang and the LockBit 2.0 ransomware group have vowed to attack the critical infrastructure of any nation that retaliates against Russia's aggression in Ukraine. As the second week of fighting begins without a significant cyber incident, experts advise businesses and other entities to remain vigilant and on alert.

This meeting is for Chamber members and closed to the press.
